October 26, 2017

Yesterday in Moscow the premiere of the film “Shards” Alisa Khazanova was held. The show took place within the framework of the festival “Priceless Cities in Cinema” – a joint project Mastercard and a cinema Pioneer.

“Shards” – the directorial debut of the famous Russian actress Alisa Khazanova filmed in English in New York . The producers of the picture were Ilya Stewart and Alisa Khazanova and the creative producer – Roman Volobuyev The story of how wrong our memory is and to what extent it is strong in us to magically live a different life – no matter how outwardly prosperous this one, living in real time. One of the sources of inspiration for the film was the classic painting Alain Rene “Last year in Marienbad” . The film was shown in English with Russian subtitles.

“Initially, the film was conceived in English. Together with the writer we decided that this is the right way. I would very much like the audience to find the strength to watch the film without waiting for them to turn off the need for momentary answers to questions, because this film works best when you turn off your head and just perceive it emotionally. The premiere took place at my favorite Pioneer cinema with the support of Mastercard. It’s a wonderful idea to create such a festival that unites completely different authors, “ told Alisa Khazanova.

To congratulate the director with the debut this evening came: Alexander, Dmitry and Evgenia Shokhiny, Gennady Khazanov, Andrey Zvyagintsev, Valery Todorovsky, Sofiko Shevardnadze, Victoria Tolstoganova, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Svetlana Ustinova and others .
